Stress Support Program: Workshop 1 – Understanding Stress

September 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Explore how stress affects your mind, body, mood, and eating habits, and learn simple ways to better understand your stress.

Stress can affect how we feel, think, behave, and even how we eat. In this interactive online workshop, we’ll explore how stress shows up mentally, physically, and emotionally, and how stress and mood can influence our everyday eating habits.

What you will learn:

  • How stress affects the mind, body, and emotions
  • The connection between stress, mood, and eating habits
  • How to recognize your personal stress signals and patterns
  • An introduction to mindful eating and healthy coping strategies
  • Simple ways to become more aware of your stress and its impact on daily life

Interactive activities will give you an opportunity to reflect on your own experiences and identify patterns that may be connected to stress.

You’ll also be invited to try a simple activity between workshops, such as mood tracking, keeping a food diary, or reflecting on the relationship between stress, mood, and eating habits.

This is Part 1 of a 2-part workshop series. Participants are welcome to attend either workshop, although attending both is encouraged for the full experience.
